Above average temperatures, then a cooldown

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Happy Friday, Borderland! Your weekend might be busy with activities, but you can count on the weather to stay calm.

Be prepared for a warm weekend. Saturday and Sunday will both have highs around 90 with a low of 61. Monday and Tuesday also mirror each other with a high around 88 and a low around 60. Come Wednesday, clouds will enter the region and stick around for a bit as temperatures drop. A noticeable change can be felt on Friday as the region sees temperatures 5 to 10 degrees lower than the previous week. The weekend is showing highs around 77, something to consider if you plan on heading outdoors.

Overall, this upcoming week will be sunny with calm winds. While we are still above normal temperatures, a cooldown is in sight.
