EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — U.S. Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, the Democrat challenging Republican U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in the Nov. 5 election, will be making a campaign stop this week in El Paso, his campaign said.

Allred, who represents a Dallas area district in the U.S. House of Representatives, will be in El Paso on Wednesday, Oct. 16, his campaign said. Allred will be making an appearance at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Philanthropy Theatre, 125 W. Mills Ave.
