EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Saturday brought active weather conditions. Parts of El Paso can expect to see showers and thunderstorms moving into the later evening hours. The chances for rain are slowly dwindling as we move into the midnight hours.

The National Weather Service has cautioned the region to look out for damaging winds, large hail and the potential for an isolated tornado, set to expire at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.

On Sunday, conditions are less threatening. A high around 83 and low of 60 brings with it southeasterly winds ranging from 10 to 15 mph. Gusts could go as high as 20 mph. Chances for rain are slight but could appear just before midnight.

The rest of your 9-day forecast shows relative calm conditions. Temperatures for the workweek begin in the mid-80 range and slowly climb up towards 90 by next weekend. A few windy days are in store, as well. Lows will range in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
