cruel and unusual punishment is wrong and against the law, you can not serve justice by being unjust, regardless of the crimes these people are in the states charge, the state has an obligation to provide basic medical care for those locked in its prisons.

BEFORE YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE WE NEED TO STOP INCARCERATING PEOPLE WITH MEDICAL ISSUES YOU REALLY NEED TO LOOK AT JUST WHAT THEY DID TO GET LOCKED UP TO BEGIN WITH. IT REALLY MADE ME STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT WHEN I READ WHERE THE COPS WERE SAYING IT ONLY COMES UP WHEN IT'S CHOW TIME AND HE'S POSSIBLY GETTING PICKED ON THEN. SO, JUST WHAT DID HE DO TO END UP IN PRISON IN THE FIRST PLACE?
