The Minot Public School Activities Department announced that Troy Wendt has been hired as the Minot North High School Head Cross Country Coach.

Coach Wendt has been involved for 9 years with cross country and track programs at Minot High and Ramstad Middle School. Coach Wendt competed and graduated from Minot High School and ran 4 years for Minot State University.

Wendt hopes to come in and create a winning culture in year one, and start off the inaugural season with a bang.

“Just to start a nice cultured team and to start the first year off right. Hopefully everyone improves and has fun. It’s very exciting to be the first Coach to make the first foundation and get it all started”, said Head Coach Troy Wendt.
