NORTH DAKOTA ( KXNET ) — A new survey shows the results of people’s opinions about health, wealth, happiness, and relationships.

The survey, conducted by personal life skills website Freedomology , indicates that Americans value health above anything else.

“The survey results show that Americans overwhelmingly value health more than wealth and even happiness. However, the results also show that Americans strongly link health to other common aspirations, such as happiness, good relationships, productivity and performance at work, and wealth,” said Freedomology CEO Greg Clement.

The big question of the survey was what was most important, which people put the priority on their health. The second priority was their happiness and wealth.

The reason behind health being the top priority is that health is the foundation of happiness.

Almost everyone who participated believes they’ll be happy if they’re healthy, while fewer people believe they’ll be happy if they’re wealthy.

Over half of people in the survey said they’re willing to trade something for a lifetime of perfect health. The top choice was social media (54.6%), followed by chocolate (48.6%), $50,000 (27.2%), sex (26.3%), and their best friend (14.7%).

There’s also a link between health and relationships, where people are more likely to hang out with friends, have sex, and meet new people when they’re healthy compared to isolating themselves when they aren’t feeling well.
