    Military training to take place at Kimball Bottoms

    BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — A training is taking place at the Kimball Bottoms Off-Highway Vehicle Area south of Bismarck.

    The North Dakota Army National Guard is doing the training from August 16-18, so that portion of the Missouri River will be temporarily closed.

    Things to do around town: August 12-18

    On August 17, the area will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to noon for safety reasons.

    The training is supposed to finish by 10 a.m. on August 18.

    The public should be aware of the activities taking place during this time, and maintain a safe distance from the training areas. Vehicle and boat traffic increases can be expected.
