NORTH DAKOTA ( KXNET ) — A Texas man was rushed to the hospital and may soon be facing charges after a crash in McKenzie County on the evening of Tuesday, August 13.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 6:13 p.m., a Kenworth semi truck pulling a side dump trailer loaded with scoria was traveling north on 142nd Avenue Northwest (roughly 13 miles SW of Arnegard) when it left the roadway and entered the east ditch. The driver of the vehicle reportedly attempted to overcorrect, which led to the semi overturning before coming to rest in the east ditch.
