Commercial truck hits, kills pedestrian in Fargo parking lot

FARGO, ND ( KXNET ) — A 31-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning when he was struck by a commercial vehicle while in a parking lot.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 1:02 a.m., August 15, a commercial truck towing a trailer was driving in the Cass Clay Creamery parking lot when it apparently struck a pedestrian. The man, who was not an employee of the creamery, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 41-year-old Fargo man, was not injured in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
