    Minot man injured in pedestrian crash

    MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — A Minot local has been rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, and another may soon be facing charges after a crash on the evening of Saturday, August 17.

    According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 9:17 p.m., a Ford Escape was traveling northbound on 16th Street Northwest when it struck a pedestrian crossing from west to east on the intersection of Wildwood Avenue.

    The driver and passenger of the vehicle (a 27-year-old and 24-year-old woman from Minot, respectively) were not injured.

    The pedestrian — a 66-year-old-man from Minot — was transported to Trinity Health in the city with serious life-threatening injuries.

    The crash currently remains under investigation, and charges against the driver are pending.
