NORTH DAKOTA ( KXNET ) — A man named Seth Varner has embarked on a quest like no other.

He and his fiancé, Eliese Ueding, decided to visit all 355 incorporated towns in North Dakota for a book he’s planning to publish this fall.

Varner’s been using Facebook to update people about his journey and to take suggestions for places he should visit.

His latest update says he’s in Dickinson, which is the 330th town he’s visited out of 355.

To make it easier on himself, Varner divided the state into five smaller trips.

He has documented all the places he’s visited and took photos of everything he has seen, such as murals, restaurants, and churches.

Varner posted that he took 636 photos of Dickinson alone. If he takes that many photos of every city he visits, he’ll have more than 225,000 photos by the end of his journey.

He plans to finish his trip on Thursday in Bismarck, after which he will write a book about his adventures.
