    More details emerge on Williston woman’s death

    WILLISTON, ND ( KXNET ) — We’re finding out more about a woman who was found dead earlier this year in Williston.

    According to a report from the State Forensic Medical Examiner, Breeanna Ward died of an overdose.

    An autopsy performed in May showed that it involved a combination of meth and fentanyl.

    Lincoln’s new police chief takes over

    Police in Williston had been looking for Ward since late February. Her body was found nearly three months later in a garage along 11th Avenue in Williston.

    The autopsy says Ward’s death was an accident. She was 28 years old.
