    Living History Day is returning to North Dakota August 31

    WILLISTON, ND ( KXNET ) — History buffs can celebrate as Living History Day is returning to North Dakota.

    The Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site will host the celebration on August 31.

    Living History Day is a celebration in which people get to live history through interactive experiences. The event on the 31st will show people what it was like to live on the 19th-century frontier.

    Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch celebrates Hope Chapel completion

    The Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site will host the celebration, where visitors can experience the fur trade, and view demonstrations of medical tools, blacksmithing, and black powder shooting to name a few.

    The celebration will go from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 31.
