    One man, two children injured in Bismarck ATV crash

    BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Three Bismarck residents — including two juveniles — were injured in a rollover crash on the evening of Saturday, August 24.

    According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 8:31 p.m., a Can Am Defender ATV was traveling south in the west ditch of US Highway 83 when the driver overcorrected the vehicle, resulting it it overturning in the west ditch.

    Both the 43-year-old driver and a 9-year-old passenger were ejected from the vehicle, and were transported to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A third passenger — a 7-year-old girl — was not ejected, and only sustained minor injuries.

    The driver is currently facing a charge of DUI with a Minor. No seat belt or helmets were worn during the crash.

    The accident remains under investigation.
