New cottage coming to Minot’s Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch

MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — The Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is breaking ground on a new Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.

The new treatment facility is called Zurcher Cottage, and it’s coming to the Minot campus on 19th Ave NW. It’s replacing the nearly 50-year-old cottages on the Minot campus.

While the buildings have served the Ranch well and have been maintained, they weren’t originally designed to provide the care kids need now.

Zurcher Cottage has been designed to provide the best-in-class care and treatment for the youngest and the highest needs kids who are served at Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch.
