Senator Hoeven to mark Heart of America Medical Center completion

RUGBY, ND ( KXNET ) — The newly constructed Heart of America Medical Center will be finished tomorrow, and Senator John Hoeven will be there to mark its completion.

The buildings will replace HAMC’s old hospital, clinics, and long-term care facility, some of which were built in the 1940s.

Hoeven, the Ranking Member of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, secured more than $55 million in loans from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to construct new medical facilities in place of the old ones in Rugby.

Hoeven will mark the medical center’s completion on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 2:00 p.m.
