BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — The calendar may say fall officially arrives on September 22, but people in and around the Bismarck area know it really starts when Papa’s Pumpkin Patch opens, and that will be September 8 this year.

That’s when the annual fall family attraction starts its 41st season, which will run from September 8 to October 19, open 12-7 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

“It’s been a great growing season, and we’ve added some new features we know our guests will love,” says general manager Cory Finneman.

Recognized by The Travel Channel as one of the top 15 pumpkin patches in America, Papa’s will feature nearly 30 varieties of produce this season. The patch is also known for its scenic fall photo opportunities and homegrown play spaces such as pedal carts, hay rides, and zip lines.

Papa’s has also created over 30 photo and video settings, transforming the property into a natural fall media studio.

Finneman expects about 7,000 daycare and school children will visit Papa’s Pumpkin Patch during the 2024 season. Since its beginning over 40 years ago, Papa’s has focused on families, education and fun, contributing over $1 million to charitable organizations.

Admission to Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is $8 per person. Infants and toddlers two years of age and under are free. Season passes are available online at www.papaspumpkinpatch.com . Papa’s is located 5001 Fernwood Drive, Bismarck.
