MINOT, N.D.– The Minot High School cheer team can’t wait to have fun on Friday, as the Magicians take the field for their season opener against West Fargo Sheyenne. In roughly three months, the Majette cheer will enter into competition season, where they have been able to dominate. This fall Minot will look for their third consecutive state title, and for some of the seniors on this year’s squad, they describe this season as a bittersweet moment knowing that this will be their last season competing in the Maroon and Gold.

“I’m really excited for this season as a senior. I’ve been on the team since my freshman year, and it’s a lot of fun. Football is probably one of my favorite sports to cheer for and I think we’re going to do really good this year”, said Caleah Eddy.

“I’m super excited. I love competing a lot. I love my team so much. It’s going to be sad competing for the last year ever, but I think we can do it and I have confidence in our team”, said Taya Siedschlad.

” This will be my last year competing with the team. I’m very excited, but I’m sad I love to compete with my teammates it’s so much fun”, said Bruklyn Schrum.
