BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Everyone is invited to explore the resources and opportunities the library has to offer.

This is why it’s important to sign up for a library card at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library in September.

When you sign up for a library card, you can borrow books, ebooks, audiobooks, games, and more. Help with homework, learning new skills, accessing technology, and joining a book club or story time are other perks.

Getting a card is easy. All Burleigh County residents can get one for free, and there are no fines for overdue items. Just bring your current photo ID and walk away with a new card.

If you can’t make it to the library or the Burleigh County Library bookmobile, you can also sign up online .

To make this year even more special, all new and renewing cardholders will have the chance to win exciting prizes.
