BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — A man will soon go to trial after police arrested him for a string of break-ins and thefts around the capital city.

Taylor Kraft has pled not guilty to 19 counts of felony theft. Police in Bismarck say the break-ins happened between January and February of this year, when people in the Wachter neighborhood told officers their vehicles had been broken into.

Police say Kraft had stolen several items, including laptop computers and credit and debit cards, which he found inside unlocked cars.

One man said his SUV was stolen from a garage along Burleigh Avenue, and told police he left a key fob inside the vehicle. Police then found and arrested Kraft, who told them a friend let him drive the vehicle so he could repair it.

Kraft was arrested again last week on a bench warrant, after it appears he failed to show up for court. His trial is currently scheduled for October 15th.
