    Williston man killed after truck collides with cow

    WILLISTON, ND ( KXNET ) — A man was killed after his vehicle struck a cow in the road on the evening of Saturday, September 7.

    According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 10:53 p.m., a Kenworth Straight Truck was traveling east on 69th Street Northwest when the driver spotted a cow in the road, causing him to brake and swerve to the left.

    The truck ended up striking the cow, running off the road to the north, and rolling. The driver, a 64-year-man from Williston, was pronounced dead on scene.

    The crash currently remains under investigation.

    I presume the cow is also dead? Should the cow have been in the road? No. Ur stuff happens. I’d sure like to know how fast he was really going.

    Find out who owned the cow. Cows are to be inside a fence. Check the brand on the cow. It’ll prove who owns it. If ppl can get into trouble not leashing their dogs, imagine a 1200 pound cow and this cow caused a death.
