Minot woman crowned Miss Norsk Høstfest 2024

MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — A Minot woman has been named 2024 Miss Norsk Høstfest following the September 7 competition.

Jersey Johnson won the crown and will represent the Norsk Høstfest later this month at the annual festival in Minot.

With the title, Johnson will receive a $1,000 scholarship provided by Farmers Insurance – Miranda Schuler Agency, as well as numerous other prizes provided by sponsors.

Johnson also has the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss North Dakota 2025, which will be held in Williston in June 2025.

Johnson is a junior at Minot State University and majoring in communication sciences and disorders and minoring in both deaf and hard of hearing education, and leadership.

“I am beyond honored to have received the title of Miss Norsk Høstfest 2024,” Johnson said. “I cannot wait to meet everyone at the festival!”
