MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — It’s almost time to drink some cocktails for a good cause. The 4th annual Caesarfest is coming back to the Magic City this month.

The festival is on the 22nd, outside of the Blue Rider Bar from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. The event has live music, a plant auction, and a car show. But the main attraction is the competition for who can make the best Caesar cocktail. Outreach Specialist Kat Howard says there are still restaurants signing up for the competition.

Which states favor Harris/Trump for tonight’s debate?

“We have 16 right competitors right now,” she states. “They make up different bars in our community, and some bar restaurants. We do have some that are coming from outside our community.”

All proceeds from the event benefit the non-profit Companions For Kids — a youth mentorship program that pairs adults with kids who need some support. The event has increased in size every year, and aims to raise $25,000 this time around. Howard says the main goal is to bring awareness to this cause.

“All of our proceeds go back into our matches,” she states, “for us to provide the support needed to do our programs. I think that the event brings awareness that we’re here in the community.”

Tickets cost $60 per person and will include a sampling of all the homemade Caesar drinks, along with access to all of the other activities that day. If you or someone else is interested in purchasing tickets to the Ceasarfest, click here.
