Missing 20-year-old from Surrey safely located

SURREY, ND ( KXNET ) — The Ward County Sheriff’s Department has safely located a 20-year-old who went missing on September 9.

Kaleb Lemasters had last been seen Monday in Surrey. The Ward County Sheriff’s Department worked closely with the Surrey Police Department as well as the North Dakota Highway Patrol to locate Lemasters, utilizing staff both on foot and in vehicles — along with an airplane and two bloodhounds for tracking along the southwest side of Surrey.

And authorities say thanks to the three agencies’ dedication and allocation of resources, Lemasters was found and has spoken with deputies.

The Ward County Sheriff’s Department would also like to thank the public for their assistance in ensuring Lemasters was safely located.
