WILLISTON, ND ( KXNET ) — A 29-year-old Williston man died Wednesday morning when his Peterbilt truck drove off a roadway and rolled three miles east of the city.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 10:00 a.m. on September 25, the man was traveling north on 130th Road Northwest, just north of the 48th Street Northwest intersection.

The truck apparently drove off the roadway to the right and the driver steered left in an attempt to get back on the road.

The truck then rolled several times and came to a rest on its top. The driver sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was initially transported CHI Williston and later flown to Trinity Health in Minot where he died of his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

I feel so horrible about the loved ones, someone had posted about this on Facebook when it happened before the loved ones even knew, it's such a horrible way to find something like that out, and it's how I found out about my grandmother who raised me, all my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
