MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — A man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges after a police pursuit on the evening of Friday, September 27th.

According to the Minot Police Department, officers attempted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of 16th Street Southwest, but its driver and sole occupant — a 30-year-old man from Natchez, Mississippi — fled, initiating a short vehicle pursuit. The vehicle eventually collided with a tree near the UND Center for Family Medicine, and while the suspect fled on foot, he was quickly apprehended without further incident.
