Equipment failure causes Mountrail County water spill

BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — About 468 barrels of water were spilled in Mountrail County when equipment failed at a Falcon Midstream Services, LLC location.

The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources says the company reported the spill on Friday, September 27.

The water was contained, and 460 barrels of it had been cleaned up. A state inspector went to the location and will monitor additional cleanup.
