New Minot workforce summit aims to help struggling workers

MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — The Minot Area Chamber EDC (MACEDC) is bringing its first Workforce Summit to the Minot Area Workforce Academy on Tuesday, October 1.

The summit will be a chance for people struggling to find business resources, childcare, and other work-related things to talk to experts about available programs.

Speakers will include leaders from the North Dakota Department of Commerce and the North Dakota Department of Health & Human Services, among other organizations. The summit will also feature a panel of North Dakota Legislators.

The summit is free, and it will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Minot Area Workforce Academy. You can register at the Minot Area Chamber EDC website .
