MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — In a couple of days, one fundraising event will quite literally be changing things up for a good cause.

The Trinity Health Auxiliary is holding a fundraiser concert on Friday.

Pop Rocks a two-hour tribute show is happening at the Clarion Hotel in Minot at 8 p.m. The show will have performers dress up as some of your favorite artists of the 80s up to the present day while performing some classic hits.

Sherry Maragos with Trinity Health Auxiliary says the performers will take turns singing and that involves dozens of costume changes.

“This is the first. We have a tribute show coming in with all the costume changes but we have had tribute shows like the Beatles. They came out of New Jersey, so they come from all over the United States. We had an I Love Lucy show with a Lucille Ball impersonator,” said Maragos.

Money raised from the event benefits Trinity Hospital. In the past, the auxiliary has used the money to buy new kitchen equipment for the hospital dietary staff, as well as new sound systems for Trinity Homes.

Maragos says you can buy tickets online, you can also reserve a table for six people.

“You’re giving to an organization that basically has the best interest of the patients, the workers, and the volunteers at Trinity Health,” said Maragos.

Tickets are $30 and can be bought at the door or can be purchased at the Trinity Hospital gift shop.
