Learn Ballroom Basics at Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library

BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — All social dance lovers are invited to one library for some dance lessons.

But these aren’t just any dance lessons — it’s Ballroom Basics taught by an experienced instructor from Northern Plains Dance at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library.

You will be guided step-by-step through the fundamentals of “lead and follow,” “basic footwork patterns,” and musicality in Two Step, East Coast Swing, and Argentine Tango.

Ballroom dancing is a great way to relieve stress, boost your mood, and stay active.

Classes are on Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m. in Meeting Room A.

The Waltz will be taught on October 16, Foxtrot on October 23, Two Step on October 30, East Coast Swing on November 6, Argentine Tango on November 13, and Salsa on November 20.
