MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — First Western Bank is teaming up with local charities, non-profits, and community organizations to volunteer for various causes.

This is part of their sixth Annual Volunteer Days, which will be next week from Monday, October 7 through Friday, Oct. 11. Building on the success of previous years, First Western employees are set to contribute over 1,000 hours of service throughout the week.

Employees will volunteer by packing meals at local food banks, cleaning up the community’s streets and buildings, delivering gear for cold weather to schools in need, and many other activities.

“Volunteer Days has become something our employees look forward to each year. This tradition
embodies the commitment of our employees to their communities,” said Brenda K. Foster,
chairman, president, & CEO of First Western Bank. “We are proud to continue this legacy and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us.”

First Western’s founder, J.H. ‘Jack’ Hoeven Jr., established a strong precedent for community involvement, making it an integral part of the bank’s mission for the last 60 years.

The bank has about 350 employees at 19 locations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. This includes its main location in Minot, as well as two others in the Magic City and two in Bismarck.
