WILLISTON, ND ( KXNET ) — A Williston woman is facing 12 charges — including multiple counts of child endangerment and drug possession — after a police search on Sunday, October 6th.

According to the Williams County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement executed a search warrant on an apartment in the 1600 block of 4th Street West in Williston belonging to 32-year-old Keely Ann Muse after its property manager reported multiple concerning events (including audio and video recordings of drug deals) and the presence of children in the home.

The following items were reportedly recovered from the apartment during the investigation:

    • A syringe with white residue consistent with methamphetamine
    • Three plastic smoking devices with residue consistent with opioid/fentanyl
    • One glass smoking device with white residue consistent with methamphetamine
    • Two spoons with white residue consistent with methamphetamine
    • Two blue pills marked M/30, consistent in appearance with fentanyl pills in the area
    • 1.5 orange pills consistent in markings with Alprazolam

Law enforcement then learned that the drugs and paraphernalia were reportedly found within the reach of Muse’s three children. It was later alleged by officers that she knowingly allowed them to associate with drug dealers, and let the apartment be used as a place to both store and sell controlled substances despite their presence.

Muse has been charged with 12 counts, including the following:

    • Three counts of Child Neglect
    • Three counts of Child Endangerment
    • One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Schedule IV Depressant
    • One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
    • Three counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
    • One count of Maintaining a Premises or Property for the Use, Storage or Sale of Controlled Substances
