MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — A fire has damaged a home in Southeast Minot. It happened on Thursday, October 10

According to the Minot Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 3 p.m. to 8th Ave SE for a fire reported in the attic.

Crews arrived three minutes later and saw smoke coming from the reported location. They immediately began suppression efforts and put out the fire.

Due to the quick response, the fire was under control and extinguished in minutes, which led to minimal property damage.

Fire officials say the house was not unoccupied and no one was injured.

The cause is currently under investigation.
