    One injured in Williston pedestrian crash

    WILLISTON, ND ( KXNET ) — A woman has been seriously injured, and a man may be facing charges after a car struck a pedestrian in Williston on the afternoon of Saturday, October 12.

    According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 4:31 p.m., a Ford F350 was traveling southbound in the parking lot of the Williston Walmart when a pedestrian left the store and began walking to her vehicle. She was then struck by the F350 while traveling across the parking lot.

    The pedestrian — a 68-year-old woman from Williston — sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision and was transported via ambulance to the nearby CHI St. Alexius hospital.

    Charges against the driver, a 34-year-old from Williston, are pending.

    The crash currently remains under investigation.
