KILLDEER, N.D. ( KXNET ) — KX News is finding out more about a man who was arrested when deputies say he showed up at a school with a gun and threatened people.

On Wednesday, Allen Bang appeared before a judge in Dickinson. He was arrested on Tuesday evening, when Dunn County sheriff’s deputies say Bang had showed up earlier at Killdeer High School and threatened a subcontractor in the parking lot.

A deputy spotted Bang’s vehicle later that day, but said that Bang wouldn’t pull over. Another deputy then blocked Bang’s vehicle, stopping him. Deputies then questioned him — during which Bang claimed to be a U.S. Marshal, and told deputies he went to the school because he believed someone was breaking into the school with shotguns.

Deputies seized two handguns from Bang. He faces felony charges of terrorizing, as well as fleeing a peace officer. He’s also charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer, which is a misdemeanor.

A judge set Bang’s bond at $250,000. He will be back in court next month.
