MANDAN, ND ( KXNET ) — Community leaders and economic developers will have a chance to network and share their goals and achievements at the Rural Developers Assembly in October.

The conference will give people a chance to learn about generative artificial intelligence and data analysis, and how they can use these tools to help them effect more change in their communities.

The conference will be held at the North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives (NDAREC) headquarters in Mandan. It was initially scheduled for Aug. 1, but was pushed back to accommodate more participants.

“Each year, the Rural Developers Assembly provides an opportunity to learn about concepts and programs that can help maintain and grow our rural communities,” says Ellen Huber, NDAREC rural development services director. “This year’s event will benefit rural developers and community ‘super-volunteers’ who wear many hats and are interested in enhancing efforts to sustain and grow their communities.”

The keynote speaker will be Marlo Anderson, host of “The Tech Ranch” radio show, which explores the impact of modern technology on our lives.

To learn more about the event and register, visit the Rural Developers Assembly website. The deadline to register is Oct. 10, and the event will be held Oct. 17.
