KBVO Game of the Week: Manor’s high-octane offense heads to Westwood in district matchup

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Westwood is looking for its first win Thursday, hosting Manor in a District 25-6A matchup at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex as the KBVO Game of the Week.

The Warriors (0-4, 0-1) lost in a tight ballgame 35-28 last week to Cedar Ridge despite 142 rushing yards from senior Xavion Sutton and 177 receiving yards out of junior Drew Norrell. Norrell also rushed for two touchdowns and added 56 yards on the ground.

Manor (1-2, 1-0) is coming off a 43-36 win over Hutto and wide receiver Jordan Clark went off against the Hippos. He hauled in 12 passes for 276 yards with three touchdowns while quarterback Camden Huff completed 17 of 31 pass attempts for 341 yards and five scores. Xavier Hill pitched in 121 rushing yards on 20 carries with a touchdown.

The game starts at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on KBVO with Roger Wallace, Keith Moreland and Noah Gross on the call.
