    APD identifies 33-year-old in deadly crash between CapMetro bus and motorcycle

    AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Thursday, the Austin Police Department identified a 33-year-old man who died after a crash between a CapMetro bus and motorcycle in north Austin Tuesday, the agency said in a news release Thursday.

    Around 7:40 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East Koenig Lane for the crash. The motorcyclist was identified as Joshua Lee-Michael Babb. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. There was also a passenger on the CapMetro bus who was transported to the hospital with non-serious injuries, according to police.

    This is now being investigated as Austin’s 65th fatal crash of 2024, the release said.
