AUSTIN (KXAN) — Beginning Friday morning, Travis County and Austin Animal Center said they would offer free spays or neuters for dogs and cats.

The opportunity will be available at the Travis County Expo Center at 7311 Decker Lane from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

“Appointments are first come, first serve. Pet owners are encouraged to arrive early,” organizers said.
