2024 ‘I Voted’ sticker poll perks

AUSTIN (KXAN) — As voting begins, some local spots are offering freebies to those who have decided to put their ballots in early.

Several local businesses are providing incentives to people who vote early and on election day, which falls on Nov. 5 this year. Here is a list of places you can visit, display your “I Voted” sticker and receive some special perks.

These voting freebies were confirmed with each establishment via phone call and/or press release.

Kerbey Lane Cafe

Kerbey Lane Cafe locations will be offering “Pancake Poll Perks” to customers showing their “I Voted” stickers, according to a release from the company. Those customers will receive a free pancake. Kerbey Lane Cafe encourages those who vote between the dates of Oct. 21 and Nov. 1 to keep their stickers and present them to staff on election day to receive their free perk.

Home Slice Pizza

Home Slice Pizza will be offering a “Sticker Swap” this year. From the start of early voting day until voting day. Show your “I Voted” sticker and swap it out for a Home Slice sticker. You will also get the option of a free cheese or pepperoni pizza with the swap.

The Soup Peddler

The Soup Peddler is offering a free 8-ounce cup of soup to anyone with an “I Voted” sticker. This opportunity runs from early voting day to election day.

Uber

The Uber rideshare app is making things easier for everyone on election day. Simply open the Uber app and you can find a list of polling locations. When you are ready to head out and vote get a ride on Uber and receive a 50% off discount.

Lyft

The Lyft rideshare app is working to remove transportation barriers around election time. Lyft is offering discounted rides to all customer through their app and offering free or heavily discounted ride codes to non-profit partners starting from the early voting period to election day.

Mochinut ATX

Mochinut ATX is offering voters a free donut when they show their “I Voted” sticker at the register. This freebie will be offered to voters from early voting day to election day.
