While many American cities do their part to keep things healthy, whether that be building community parks, providing healthy food options, or promoting an active lifestyle, some places are exceptionally more healthy than others, and it shows.

So, what factors come together to create the healthiest cities across the country? Today we are going to examine four factors that play a large role in the health of a city.

Healthcare. Food. Fitness. Green Space. And this standout Nebraska city has all four in great abundance.

According to a list compiled Wallethub , the healthiest city in all of Nebraska is Lincoln . Lincoln ranked as the 71st healthiest place to live in the entire country! Omaha also made the list.

Here's what Wallethub had to say about compiling the data to discover the healthiest cities to live in across America:

"In order to identify the overall healthiest cities in the U.S., WalletHub compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across four key dimensions: 1) Health Care, 2) Food, 3) Fitness and 4) Green Space. Our sample considers only the city proper in each case and excludes cities in the surrounding metro area. We evaluated the four dimensions using 41 relevant metrics, which are listed below with their corresponding weights. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for a healthy lifestyle."

Not true. boring. Property taxes rents and full of illegals. So maybe cheaper to eat out than buy groceries at the store.
