    Flags to be lowered half-staff for Memorial Day in Spokane

    SPOKANE, Wash. -- State and U.S. flags will be flown at half-staff on Monday for Memorial Day honoring service members.

    Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown made the order Friday in following with a directive from Governor Jay Inslee.

    Mayor Brown encourages other businesses, residents, and government entities to join in.
