    Spokane Police investigate downtown shooting that sent one to the hospital Tuesday night

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police is currently investigating a Tuesday night shooting in downtown that sent one person to the hospital.

    According to police, the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 2nd and Division.

    When officers arrived, they found the victim in a nearby apartment with a gunshot wound to his arm.

    The victim said he had got into a fight with two others before he was shot.

    SPD said witnesses heard the fight and gunshots before two unknown suspects left in a pickup truck.

    The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
