Spokane Valley Fire knocks down house fire in Otis Orchards

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A home was damaged in a fire early Friday morning in Otis Orchards.

According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, a call came in around 7 a.m. for a fire at a home on N. Campbell Road north of Wellesley Avenue.

Firefighters said there was a working fire and flames were visible on the roof.

They got the fire out after a couple minutes.

No one was located inside the home when they searched but two small dogs were located and have been turned over to SCRAPS. Their conditions are unknown.

No other injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation, but firefighters think the fire may have started from the back porch.
