Thunderstorms with gusty and dusty winds on Friday - Matt

Gusty winds, lightning and perhaps even a little rain will pay us a visit on Friday afternoon and evening in the Inland Northwest. Keep an eye on the radar if you have any plans after 3 p.m. The weather will change quickly when these storms approach, but improve quickly when they leave.

• Blowing Dust Advisory in Eastern Washington: 2-8 p.m. Friday
• Visibility on the roads could become extremely limited
• If driving in a dust storm, turn your lights on and slow down or pull over
• Gusty winds from thunderstorms could reach over 40 mph, cause minor damage
• Lightning could spark new wildfires Friday evening
• Wet weather in the mountains this weekend
• Valleys may only get a chance for rain Friday night and Saturday morning
• Saturday will be the coolest day since mid-June
