    Spokane police find man who went missing early Sunday morning

    SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police found a man who went missing on Sunday, according to Spokane Police Department.

    Around 2 p.m. on August 25, SPD said they found the missing man, who has dementia, on Sunday afternoon and that he is safe.

    The 68-year-old man had last been seen around midnight on August 25 in the Sunset Hill area of Spokane near Rustle Street and Sunset Boulevard.

    In an email, SPD thanked everyone who helped them safely locate the man.
