Wildfire smoke from Oregon and Washington lowering air quality in the Spokane Area

SPOKANE, Wash. -- You may notice a layer of smoky haze in the sky this weekend. Spokane Clean Air said this comes from wildfires in Oregon and Idaho.

As of Saturday afternoon, the air quality was moderate for the Spokane area. This is expected to continue through Monday night.

According to Spokane Clean Air, moderate air quality means the air is acceptable but some pollutants may be a moderate health concern for certain sensitive groups.
