    UPDATED: 6:35 P.M.

A blowing dust advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday evening around 5:22 p.m.

The warning is in effect until 11 p.m. for the Palouse-Moses Lake, Columbia Basin-Spokane and Waterville Plateau areas.

Drivers should exercise caution on the roads and expect one-quarter to one mile of difficult visibility.

If you are on the road and unable to see because of dust, pull over and put your car in park until the dust clears.

People in the warning areas should also expect gusty winds that could blow around large objects, including tree limbs.

Pay attention to your surroundings and stay inside if possible.
