    Spokane Valley man killed by driver going wrong way on Interstate 90 Saturday morning

    ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. -- One person is dead after crashing with a driver going the wrong way down Interstate 90 near Sprague early Saturday morning.

    According to Washington State Patrol, 89-year-old Lloyd O. Arbaugh from Moses Lake was driving east in the westbound lanes of I-90 around 4:45 a.m. Saturday.

    Arbaugh crashed into a car driven by 61-year-old Craig E. Richardt from Spokane Valley. Debris from the crash hit another car driving on the interstate.

    Richardt was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Arbaugh was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. The third driver was uninjured.

    WSP said charges against Arbaugh are under investigation.

    Once you retire you should have to annually pass a driving test. 89 years old and driving a car, guarantee he uses a cane and doesn’t see well
