Verizon customers experiencing outages Monday

Thousands of people who use Verizon or AT&T for cell phone services are reporting outages Monday morning.

According to Downdetector , outages were reported beginning at 7 a.m.

Customers using Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular are reporting issues with Verizon having the most reports.

Verizon Wireless has a acknowledged the issue is on their end and their engineers are working to resolve the problem.

AT&T says they do not have any outages and any issues are stemming from customers communicating with other service providers.

Based on Downdetector reports, most of the issues are coming from the Midwest with Chicago reporting the most issues.
